Yard Labourer

We are currently looking for a reliable labourer, preferably with experience of working within a busy yard, ideally with tubulars or scrap handling, to join our team full time and long term.
Job Description

Job Type – Full Time (40 hour week)
Start Date – Immediately
Core Hours – Monday to Friday 8-5, with occasional Saturdays 8-12
May be opportunities to also do additional hours (i.e. Overtime)

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Experience of working with tubulars or scrap metal (preferred but not essential)
Experience of being a banksman/slinger preferred (preferred but not essential)
Basic experience of working with forklifts (initially labourer position but may lead to more)

Duties & Responsibilities:

Carry out general yard work, including washing operations
Safely loading/unloading from trucks/containers
Ensure safe operation and maintenance of all relevant vehicles/machinery
Whilst adhering site QHSE requirements

forklift: 1 year (preferred)
yard based: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)
