Warehouse Operator

Veripos, part of Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join our Aberdeen operation. The main responsibility will be assisting with inventory control and warehouse management. Picking and booking out of materials, arranging products and shipments, managing fulfilment of customer requirements to enable On Time Delivery and general upkeep of the warehouse

Within the Autonomy & Positioning division your work will contribute to the operation of our brand(s) NovAtel, AutonomouStuff, VERIPOS and Antcom.

The Location: Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position is based in Aberdeen, UK.

Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operator youwill be responsible for the following:

Incoming receipting including purchases, customer returns, rental returns and others
Stock management – Cycle counting and maintaining inventory levels, managing quarantine shelves and transferring of goods between stock locations
Picking and kitting – Picking material and delivering to the workshop for equipment requests, sales orders, rental orders, manufacturing requirements
Warehouse management – tasks such as ensuring the area is tidy and organised, moving equipment between goods in, awaiting testing, return to stock and quarantine areas
Ensuring that the various waste bins are regularly collected by the relevant collection companies
Other assistance such as delivery paperwork & prep, compliance tasks, UK & local deliveries
Working with the Supply Chain & Material Coordinator to understand priorities and to highlight problems
Maintaining records, keeping relevant files up to date and processing as per standard operating procedures
Qualifications:

Must have:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Constructively respond to issues and aim to provide a high level of service
Ability to drive a counterbalance fork lift truck
Previous exposure to an ERP system eg SAP/Microsoft Dynamics AX/ Oracle etc
Warehouse inventory experience
Experience of working with both customers and suppliers
Good Microsoft Office skills (Office, Teams etc)
Good interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail
Organised with time management skills

Nice to have:

Working knowledge and experience of MS Dynamics
Air cargo security experience
Experience within logistics
