Warehouse Operative

Peterson are looking to take on a Warehouse Op (Base Op). To be considered for this role you must have experience in Warehousing, ideally with forklift and/or banksman slinger experience, but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate. This role is based our facility at Heysham.
Job Description
Duties include receiving goods in and checking materials; preparing, loading and shipping outbound cargo; unloading containers and preparing equipment for backload to vendors; general yard work including slinging/bundling pipe; various crane and FLT duties and general warehouse and yard tidiness. Compliance with procedures regarding the loading and unloading of trailers. Ensure effective communication with Line Supervisor. Assist with the backload cargo dispatch process, ensuring cargo backload managed and dispatched according to company procedures.
