Warehouse Manager- Croyden

Working within a large Construction Group with this being one of many branches UK wide. My client are a well known and successful distributor and building products.
£30,000- £3500 a year
Full-time, Permanent (Hours 6.30-3.30 or 7.00-4.00 ) Mon – Friday
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, planning the jobs and outbound deliveries according to customer requirements.
Day to day management of Warehouse Operatives, Drivers & Site Supervisors, ensuring customer orders and deliveries are completed in line with internal and external requirements.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security of the work environment
Traffic Management
Ensuring Method Statements and Risk Assessments are carried out and up to date for all areas and activities in the warehouse.
Liaise with internal colleagues and access project folders on the network to monitor the status of customer orders and deliveries.
Co-ordinate logistics with the Branch Manager regarding everything coming in and out of the warehouse.
Support the team to produce customer orders accurately by fabricating the cladding panels to the required production drawings. This involves cutting and drilling.
Pack and palletise the panels and fixing system components accurately and safely for transport to site.
Receive and store goods in the warehouse in a safe manner.
Ensure all consumable stock levels are maintained including critical spares and PPE equipment.
Carry out a quarterly stock takes of all materials and consumables in the warehouse
Managing the team’s additional hours and approving holiday request forms
Any other reasonable requests from Management

Essential:

Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager/Supervisor role
Ideally hold UK driving licence
Ability to communicate at all levels – good written and verbal English
Forklift truck certificate or experience (if expired this can be retaken)
Some flexibility in works hours may be required
A positive team player, with demonstrable ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
A ‘can-do’ attitude, looking for solutions rather than problems
Professional attitude and the commitment to provide the highest standard of customer service
Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office (excel, word) to a good standard

Desirable:

Experience in a construction or industrial environment
GCSE in Maths and English
