Responsibilities:- Direct and manage traffic flow at construction sites, events, or other designated areas- Ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles by controlling the movement of traffic- Use hand signals, flags, or other designated signals to communicate with drivers- Monitor and enforce parking regulations- Provide assistance to drivers in navigating through congested areas or construction zones- Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with the public
Requirements:- Valid traffic marshal certification or training is preferred- Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and withstand various weather conditions- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed- Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations is a plus
