Traffic Marshall

Job Title: Traffic Marshall
Duties:- Direct and control the flow of traffic on construction sites or other designated areas- Ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles by effectively managing traffic movement- Use hand signals, flags, and other signaling devices to guide vehicles and pedestrians- Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide clear instructions and directions- Monitor and enforce compliance with traffic regulations and site-specific safety protocols- Report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel- Assist in the coordination of deliveries and vehicle movements within the site
Requirements:- Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall or similar role is preferred- Knowledge of utility locating procedures and equipment is a plus- Familiarity with operating Caterpillar or other heavy machinery is an advantage- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness- Physical fitness to stand for long periods and withstand outdoor weather conditions
