Job Title: Traffic Marshall
Responsibilities:- Direct and control traffic flow in and around construction sites, events, or other designated areas- Ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles by effectively managing traffic movement- Use hand signals, flags, or other designated equipment to communicate with drivers and pedestrians- Monitor and enforce parking regulations- Assist with the coordination of deliveries and vehicle access to designated areas- Report any incidents or accidents to the appropriate authorities- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing directions to drivers and pedestrians
Qualifications:- Previous experience as a Traffic Marshall is preferred but not required- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively direct traffic and communicate with drivers and pedestrians- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in high-stress situations- Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety procedures- Physical fitness to stand for long periods of time and withstand various weather conditions- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
