The Company:
My client is a national energy recovery company, with over 300 sites across the country. This ethical, sector leading firm is seeking an experienced stock controller from a manufacturing/production site or similar high volume business to join their team on their industrial site in Croydon on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role:
The main purpose of this role is to ensure all parts needed onsite are ready and available and purchased by you at the lowest cost, while managing the maxim stock hold. On top of this you will need to keep in contact with the companies alternative sites around the UK to ensure stock levels for the company overall are in check and managed well.
You will also play an active role in supporting the operation and availability of high value/plant critical spares for your designated ERF, working in partnership with the Engineering and Operational teams. You must be flexible, self-sufficient and able to work autonomously! Willing to handle a variety of duties and learn on the job. It is essential you can maintain a professional manner and liaise with the team, clients, contractors and suppliers.
Requirements:
An understanding of purchasing principles and practices within a warehouse/manufacturing/production environment.
Confident contacting.negotiating with suppliers to get the best prices on all stock.
Experience of a computerised stock control systems & health and safety requirements.
Access larger databases for national suppliers and accounts known to the company.
Confident liaising/negotiating with suppliers and finding alternative suppliers for the business where necessary.
Strong back office systems experience e.g. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams as well as either Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Clickup, HubSpot CRM, Salesforce, Oracle Net Suit or similar CRM/ERP platform
