We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our Apple Clients team as a Sr. Manager, Software Development.
This role is based at least 3 days a week from our London office.
Key job responsibilities
The Sr. Manager, PV Apple Clients is the single-threaded owner of native Prime Video clients for Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and MacOS. You will direct a large, cross-functional organization of Managers, Engineers, Technical Program Managers, and QA to deliver the best-in-class Prime Video native app to millions of customers using Apple devices.
A day in the life
Lead the Apple engineering organization including growing and mentoring managers (manager of managers).
Partner closely with our product, business development, and partner teams to build innovative features that drive engagement and customer delight on Apple products.
Develop architectural visions to improve feature quality, deliver features to customers faster, and maintain best-in-class operations and availability.
Become the foremost expert on the Apple ecosystem, and work closely with Apple representatives on new features, devices, and capabilities.
About the team
The Apple Clients organization is part of the Global App Experience organization in Prime Video. We own the clients and services that power the end-customer experience for millions of customers across thousands of device types including Fire TV, Smart TVs, Android, iOS, and Web. We have expertise in client and server technologies and develop in web and native frameworks.

Experience designing and developing large scale, high-traffic applications
Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
Experience establishing metrics for measurement of engineering and operational excellence
A passion for entertainment media including music, movies, and TV
