Responsibilities:- Directing and guiding vehicle movement on construction sites or in busy areas- Ensuring the safe and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians- Using hand signals, radios, or other communication devices to coordinate with drivers and operators- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials or equipment- Monitoring and enforcing safety regulations and procedures- Reporting any incidents, accidents, or near misses to the appropriate personnel
Requirements:- Previous experience as a Banksman or in a similar role is preferred- Knowledge of traffic management and safety procedures- Excellent communication skills and the ability to give clear instructions- Strong attention to detail and situational awareness- Physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods of time- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
