Reward and Benefits

£12.50 per hour
42 hours per week, working 4 on / 4 off, nights and weekends
Shifts varying between 18:00 – 06:00 and 19:00 – 07:00

The Opportunity
Due to our exciting growth in Cambridge and surrounding areas, we are looking to recruit 4 additional Mobile Security Officers.

Working for our Mobile Services team based out of our Head Office in Great Shelford, Cambridge.
Full use one of our modern livered company vehicles to conduct various tasks including but not limited to, locking up of premises, unlocking of premises, alarm activations and ad hoc tasks.
Successful candidates will be assigned to a patrol route (beat) and receive training with an experienced colleague as part of your induction.
Mobile Security Officers are supported at all times by our 24-Hour Security Operations Centre but the ideal candidate will be able to manage their own workload and accommodate additional tasks if so required.
All jobs are recorded through our smartphone application TrackTik and also use our various clients applications where required – full training for all applications will be provided during your induction.
Conduct Full patrols of the local areas on your assigned beat
Limited report writing and gathering intelligence data
Attending call-outs and identifying key issues, including potential threats
Working closely with third parties such as, local police, retailers and organisations linked to the site
Supporting with building a community partnership

Essential Skills and Experience

Valid Front line SIA Licence (if not held we will sponsor you to obtain)
Full Manual Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
Well presented, professional and motivated to work diligently and effectively on their own
Ability to work under pressure
Must be comfortable with driving at night and expected to drive safely and within the designed speed limits
Full 5-year checkable work history to BS7858 standard
