Picture this…100 acres of secluded woodland that is home to a series of underground chambers excavated from the hillside, containing reinforced concrete vaults and their precious contents.
It may sound like something from a Bond movie but it’s right here in Dinton, Wiltshire. And we’re now on the hunt for an elite security operative to take the leading role!
Do you thrive on working independently? Have outstanding attention to detail? Come alive at the thought of patrolling dark rural locations and protecting something truly unique?
As the frontline defence for LCB Dinton, you will be monitoring the site via CCTV and also patrolling both the perimeter and buildings on site.
Full uniform and equipment provided, along with welfare facilities including a modern security building, toilet and kitchenette.
(Please note – You will need your own transport due to the rural location).
This is a UK based role. The successful candidate will ideally be located within 25 miles of the Dinton region. We are not in a position to offer a work permit or visa.
What we offer

£11.56 per hour plus holiday, pension, overtime and benefits – plus regular pay reviews
Full time, nights & rotational weekend day shifts
Working 14-hour shifts, 17:30 to 07:30, with rotational 10-hour weekend day shifts.
Average 39 hours per week (roster will be provided at interview stage)
Double time paid on Bank Holidays
5.6 weeks pro-rate annual leave

What we need

Current and active SIA licence (either Security Guard, Door Supervisor or Close Protection)
Previous experience in static security work beneficial but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to use own initiative to assess situations and respond appropriately
Good timekeeper and able to plan own workload
Full 5-year checkable work history to BS7858 standard
Smart, well-presented and confident
Must be prepared to work night shifts which will include weekends and bank holidays on a shift rotation. The roster includes weekend days.

The role

Provide a visible, alert and smart security presence
Secure the premises, patrol the site, monitor surveillance equipment, inspect buildings, equipment and access points, and permitting entry when appropriate
Recording incidents and reports, recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
Responding to CCTV, alarms and manage incidents efficiently and effectively
Following assignment instructions (AIs) accurately and in a professional manner
Use dedicated technology including check call systems, mobile applications, as well as patrol timekeeping systems
Maintain effective communication with the control room ensuring that issues are raised and dealt with promptly and effectively
Complete documentation including incident and occurrence reports as required
Conduct shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift
