Job Role: Security Officer
Business Section: Manned Guarding
Contract Type: Part time/Full Time Zero Hours flexible contract
Salary: £10.50 per hour
PAYE: Monthly (paid 25th of each month)
Hours of Work: – Day/Nights

Reporting to: Security Operations Manager
Start Date: Immediate start available- following interview and preliminary screening
Duties to include (but not limited to):
You will be working within a professional and experienced team and responsible for providing a first-class service, whilst promoting and maintaining the safety, security of the premises, customers, and staff.
Assessing the suitability of the public entering the sites, following strict company and site procedures
Regular internal / external patrols of the site
Checking I.D Searching and Directing to right office
Enforcing a zero-tolerance approach to drugs, aggression and disorderly behaviour
Liaising with your manager and the venue management on a regular basis
Logging information on paper, computer or on mobile App
Conducting shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during a shift are passed on for the purposes of service and incident management continuity.
Writing complete and accurate handover and incident reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports passed to you at the commencement or during a duty shift
Ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence with the Site Assignment Instructions.
Greeting, assisting and directing members of the public visiting the premises of our client
About You

You must….
Hold a valid SIA Door Supervision or Security Guarding Licence
Be reliable with excellent attendance and punctuality
Be presentable and smart
Have excellent customer service skills
Be able to work well under pressure
Be able to work in a team
Be confident at communicating at all levels
Hold a valid First Aid certificate
Driver with own transport
Flexible to work on short notice
Zero Hours contract with regular on shift breaks
Have security uniform (White Shirt,Black Trouser,Plain High Visibility Jacket)

Applicant must be able to provide a minimum of 5 years employment / unemployment / educational history (no gaps greater than 30 days).
This is required for Screening and Vetting as per the current BS 7858.
Right to work in the UK

Be fluent in spoken and written English
Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period
Full UK Driving Licence
Access to a reliable vehicle.
