Essential: Full UK Driving Licence Desirable: SIA CCTV and Security Licence GCSE C and above Shift and weekend work Full flexible over 7 days Service runs 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year

Responsible for To provide a range of Security Services throughout North Tyneside
Job Purpose
Working a 24hour shift pattern as part of a team to ensure that security duties, as directed, are carried out.
To use and monitor CCTV systems as directed, and in accordance with legislation and practice.
To liaise with multi agency partners for the purposes of preventing and detecting crime.
To maintain the security of buildings and other properties as instructed.
Job Content
Carry out static guarding duties at various sites within North Tyneside as directed.
Conduct mobile patrols at designated premises, parks and land to protect property in order to prevent and deter crime.
Respond to alarm activations for clients across the borough to ensure that buildings and premises are secure and any breaches are reported promptly and issues resolved.
Report breaches of security to the Senior Security Officer and/or Security Operations Officer.
Maintain records of activity as directed.
To ensure services are delivered in accordance with North Tyneside Council’s Health and Safety policies.

37 Hours per week over a 4 week rota
24/7 shift working required
