Rural Watch Volunteers – Eggborough

Rural Watch Volunteers Vacancy based at Eggborough Police station
The volunteers go out on mobile patrol during the day and evenings, double crewed
The volunteers will patrol areas to reduce crime and known areas that attract cross border crime.
What is the role?
Drive the rural watch police vehicle on pre-determined patrol routes.
Report suspicious incidents / individuals / vehicles to FCR by phone/Radio (Only when stationary or by a passenger in the car)
Comply with Health and Safety requirements (as per risk assessment) and Code of Conduct
To be a driver you need to have a clean driving licence and be able to pass a basic Police assessment and highway code test. Non drivers can be passengers.
All volunteers will be vetted to NPPV level 2 Full
