We are an AJ100 architecture practice and a significant part of a multi-disciplinary design and construction consultancy. Our design portfolio is world class, and we are currently working on several exciting new projects including overseas Public Sector projects, as well as UK based F1 Teams’ headquarters, advanced manufacturing, Science, Education, Defence and Workplace projects which results in a diverse, growing, and creative practice. We design and deliver a range of projects in terms of scale and sector.

We are known for our collaborative and consultative approach, integrated multi-disciplinary design philosophy and technical excellence. We pride ourselves in applying these skills when designing and delivering environments to enhance human activities and experiences.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Architect to join our skilled Architectural team of over 120 architectural staff. This specific role will focus on our portfolio of public sector defence and security work based within the UK and overseas. You will be working within a core team who focus on this sector and you will be required to run projects at various stages. There will be a requirement to travel overseas for short durations at a time throughout project stages.
Experience and Skills Required:

Experience in a client facing role with good communication skills
Design Leadership, capable of leading multidisciplinary design teams
Strong design and technical skills
Ability to understand prescribed client requirements and incorporate into building designs
Willingness to travel overseas – previous overseas project experience is preferred
Revit experience is essential
Ability to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writing
Experience in preparing and presenting design proposals and documentation
Knowledge of UK best practice standards and keen interest in sustainability
Post Part 3 qualification experience
Due to the nature of this role, you must be willing to go through a security clearance application process. An existing valid security clearance would be advantageous.

Candidates must ensure the highest design quality throughout all projects and be able to work efficiently & diligently to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong attention to detail.
