NEW* Security Dog Handlers Nights and Weekends

Kopek Security & Facilities Ltd is a national provider of manned and canine assisted security services. We as a company, consistently strive to deliver a high standard of service.
We are looking to recruit full and part time dog handlers to join our existing canine section.
Preferred applicants will be encouraged to maintain/work towards a high level of proficiency along with their canine team mate through regular training and improvements. A high level of animal welfare and care will always be expected!
Differing levels of experience and ability considered, mentoring and training is available.
Description
All handlers will be required to ensure the security of our client’s premises while adhering to the site safety rules and regulations. The handler will be required to be compliant to the British Standards, random dog patrols of the site and any other specific duties to be advised in the assignment instructions.
To apply, applicants are required to have:
* Work ethics, the right attitude and be a team player
* Genuine understanding of their canine partners needs/welfare
* A good level of written and verbal English
* A valid frontline SIA badge
* Minimum level 2 team certificate (NASDU, NTIPDU or BIPDT)
* Continuation training (CT) records
* A suitable dog of guarding breed
* Compliant dog cages with escape hatches (must provide photographic evidence)
* Vehicles must be visible with livery Vehicle must be unbranded (no company livery)
* Warning triangles on all exits
* Public Liability Insurance
* Professional, presentable with excellent communication skills
* Smart black uniform & boots with clean hi-vis/tactical vest
(yellow/black dependent on site)
* Able to download apps on their phones for onsite diester points and check calls.
* Patrol in all weathers
Hours of Work
Nights and Weekends 7 days a week ( 2 weeks notice for holidays or resigning from the site)
Remuneration and Benefits
* Double Pay on Bank Holidays
* Full welfare facilities
£13.75 Self Employed or LTD – Double pay on Bank Holidays
All applicants will be screened and vetted to BS 8517 and BS 7858 standards.
