Shift Pattern – 4 on 4 off nights, 10 hr shifts @ £11.75ph.
Transport – Company vehicle will be provided along with IT package. Applicants must be over the age of 21 with a clean driving licence due to insurance purposes.
Training – Full training will be given to the individual successful.
Job Description:
Due to a change in service, Consortio Security is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Security Supervisor to join our very successful operations team. The role is located within the Southwest and in particular Bath and Weston Super Mare. It is preferred that the successful candidate resides in Bristol or Bath as this is the heart of the portfolio but not essential should the right candidate present themself.
The Mobile Security Supervisor will report into the Regional Operations Manager and will be guided and mentored throughout. The successful candidate will support our client properties out of hours by visiting individual sites and conducting tasks such as, out of hours welfare visits, patrols, compliance checks, maintenance checks and incident management. All training will be provided prior to the person ‘’going live’’ so you thoroughly understand and follow our company processes and procedures.
This is a great opportunity for the incoming individual to show off their skill set and contribute to a growing region. Following a probation period (6 months) and should the need arise the Mobile Security Supervisor will ‘’step up’’ and cover for the Regional Operations Manager when they are on leave, off with sickness or on compassionate which in turn facilitates exposure to the role for career progression purposes.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and will be required to pass a literacy and numeracy test.
Package:
The role is permanent and contractual, working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, 10 hr shifts with a pay rate of £11.75ph
You will be issued with the complete IT package ensuring that you are able to contact clients, employees and colleagues when operational.
Duties:
Ensure clients’ staff, property and other assets are secure
Answer all enquiries courteously and professionally
Accurately operate designated alarm systems
Monitor CCTV footage for protection of property and assets overtly and covertly
Complete the daily log, noting all appropriate activity
Produce accurate reports as and when needed
Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of all zones
Ensure all procedures, site / assignment instructions and protocols are followed at all times; being particularly diligent when in an emergency situation
Be an effective ambassador for Consortio, always smart and diligent.
Essential Requirements:
Applicants must be must be aged 21 or over
Excellent communication skills with a good standard of written and spoken English
Valid SIA Licence and a valid full UK driving Licence – no interview will be offered without both
Fully checkable five years’ employment history as per BS7858
Previous Mobile / KHAR experience
First Aid Qualifications
Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
Demonstrates good observation skills and an attention to detail
Remains calm and professional under pressure
Always punctual and reliable
Smart appearance, following the Consortio uniform requirements to the letter
