marine operative – Southampton

Here at Marine Resources we are recruiting for a marina operative for Saxon wharf Southampton.
We are looking for candidates with a passion for being near the sea and have a love for boats and the marine industry this role will be working a 42 hour shift down at Saxon Wharf.
You must have forklift qualifications and be happy to work 4 on 4 off shift patterns which will include weekend work.
If you have a slingers of a banksman ticket that is a huge bonus to us due to the fact you will be lifting and manoeuvring boats onto a dry stack.
This role will be conducting routine maintenance in and around the Marina and the yard as well as conducting safe and controlled lifting operations of motor yachts, sailing boats and powerboats on and off the dry stack ( Boat storage shelf )
These operations will be perfect for someone with good experience lifting heavy equipment with a forklift and someone who has good control of a machine as well as solid teamwork and people skills.
