Description

As an Investment Manager, you will support the provision of high-quality, professional investment management services to private clients and intermediaries. You will utilise your skills and knowledge of investments and stock markets to ensure the client’s investment strategy aligns with their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for the management of client portfolios.
Writing client report material, ensuring agreed timescales are achieved.
Reviewing and maintaining existing client relationships, including interface with financial advisors.
Completing due diligence on investments and monitoring the performance holdings.
Constructing portfolios based on the “Preferred Stocks” list.
Submitting deals on behalf of clients.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Level 6/7 CISI qualification.
Bachelor’s Degree (finance/economics related preferable).
Previous experience in a similar role with an asset management firm.
Knowledge and understanding of FCA conduct of business rules and suitability requirements.
Be able to work under pressure to deadlines, ensuring accuracy and high levels of attention to detail at all times.
A comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of investments and stock markets.
Excellent interpersonal skills: able to listen, empathise, and build trust with individuals and teams, motivating and coaching them to perform at a high level.
