Hygiene Operative

Job description
We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Cleaner in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Schedule – 06:00 – 14:00 Monday to Friday
You will work as part of a team to carry out warehouse cleaning of the site. You will provide great service to our clients by ensuring that standards are maintained through adherence to the segregation of various waste streams on site. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you do.
You will report to the Site Manager
Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment within the yard and warehouse area
Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
General warehouse cleaning with use of machines (full training will be provided)
Report anything in need of repair or replacement
Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors and visitors to the site
May be asked to carry out other tasks as may be required by the Area Manager to fulfil client or ISM requirements
To be responsible for recycling return stock as directed by the Supervisor and Area Manager

Skills Required

Work on their own initiative and organise their own time as they will be managed remotely
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
React to feedback appropriately to provide great service to customers
Good attention to detail to deliver high standards
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential to communicate with customers and managers and comply with Health & Safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience of warehouse cleaning is desired, but not essential
The ability to learn, and the capability to develop skills further
