Front of House Security Officer

Biosite Security Limited specialises in Construction Site Security and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Daytime Front of House Security Officer to join our dynamic team.
This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career within the security industry and gain hands-on experience in customer service & security in a thriving and supportive site/company.
Based on site with our end customer, you will work closely with all areas of their company and ours, to secure the site and assist with the site team in ensuring overall site security is maintained. You will be helping the team at Biosite Security to achieve agreed targets and service level agreements. This exciting position offers the opportunity to progress into a bigger role such as joining our management team through our EPS.

Responsibilities

Adding operatives to our access control system. Full training will be provided.
Greeting and signing in visitors to site. Ensuring that all visitors to site are provided with a first class customer service experience.
Maintaining data stored on the system and updating as required.
Completing check calls or book on/off calls with control room team
Overseeing overall site security, hoarding, access gates and CCTV as required
Lock and Unlock at the start and end of the day.
Generating Time and Attendance reports for operatives on site as required (Full training will be provided on access control/time and attendance software).

Requirements

Valid SIA Licence
Minimum of 2 years security experience in a similar company or construction site
Knowledge of security is advantageous but not essential
Proficient in basic computer management and simple web applications (a good understanding of the Google suite will also be advantageous)
Excellent personal management skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills – written and oral (being able to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders)
A Valid CSCS card or affiliate scheme (can be attained at a later date)

Remuneration & Selection
Biosite Security has a great employee progression scheme which has seen several members of our site team be offered positions within management or the control room team. We initially offer the hourly rate of £10.50 for this position with a review after six months service. We pay all staff on a PAYE basis and staff get paid at the end of the month.
