Are you a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) coming from a Finance background ?

If so, we have a great opportunity for you.

This 12 month FTC role (covering maternity leave) is the Finance lead for our Retail Estates. You’ll be collaborating with business stakeholders to drive and improve our shop profitability, whilst obtaining the best Commercial outcome for William Hill UK.

What you will be doing

Direct Finance business partnering support for the Retail SLT and other business functions
Commercial Modelling, Investment Appraisals, Business Recommendations
Finance lead for Estates Governance and Shop Profitability Reviews and OMNI, focussing on Incrementality, ROI modelling and overall business alignment
Presenting performance updates to Operations team and exec – trials, Investments etc whilst seeking continuous team Improvement – reporting, Insight etc
Supporting future capex financial appraisals and scenario modelling with key input into Budget and reforecasting process
Managing day to day queries/questions from Business Stakeholders and Exec
Working with wider BI team to deliver analytics to understand performance and provide insights for decision making
Supporting and developing a Commercial Finance Analyst and an Analyst based in Manilla.

Who we are looking for

Someone with a background in reporting and Commercial Analysis/Business Partnering
A great communicator, with excellent stakeholder management and be able to manage multiple priorities.
A people person who can communicate effectively across all levels
A passionate individual ideally with a mix of Online and Retail experience with proven commercial mindset and problem solving skills
A self starter who can work well autonomously but also in a team with excellent analytical skills, knowledge of data systems and ability to tell the story
