At Bruntwood, we’re committed to offering more than just outstanding office, coworking, retail and lab spaces. Everything we do is tied into our vision of building vibrant communities, whilst providing businesses with the support and expertise they need to grow. We’re commercial property specialists operating sites across England.
Here are some examples of our properties which we develop from scratch and manage on an ongoing basis: Circle Square – a vibrant new neighbourhood for digital and tech businesses, Innovation Birmingham Campus – Birmingham’s leading digital tech campus, home to over 120 businesses, in the heart of the Knowledge Quarter and Alderley Park – A world-leading life science and innovation campus, home to over 200 businesses.
The roles are all based at our Manchester City Centre office – Union – where you’ll get to work and learn from a group of over 20 finance professionals at different stages of their careers, giving you excellent support and exposure to grow your career within finance at Bruntwood.
We offer full CIMA support with clear paths to progress within the business. Allowing you to find and carve your own path. We’re recruiting for five Finance Executives (3 Bruntwood Works and 2 Bruntwood Scitech roles) altogether, so you’ll have the opportunity to work and learn within your peer group, developing and supporting each other throughout your development.
The role will be varied, supporting our Asset Management, Project Management, Financial Reporting and Financial Accounting teams as you develop in your role. We’ve attached the full job description on our careers page for full details, however here’s a snapshot of what to expect:

Financial KPI reporting for our diverse property portfolio and identifying key trends linking to our non-financial KPIs such as lettings, occupancy and customer retention.
Forecasting the future performance of our portfolio through input into our financial models and discussions with internal stakeholders
Accounting for our wider financial performance on a quarterly basis
Assist in cash flow forecasting and variance analysis reporting
Production of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly or quarterly basis.

What we’re looking for:

The ability to use Microsoft to create Pivot tables/VLookUps will be advantageous but not essential

With consideration of the above we are keen to receive applications from all backgrounds. Our ambition is to make Bruntwood a truly diverse and inclusive place to work, reflective of the communities we live and work in so we particularly encourage applications from ethnic minorities, disabled people, and those who are neurodiverse.
