Job Description
Hardall International Limited partnered with Milton Keynes College is looking for an aspiring Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering and Service Department, as an apprentice. This role provides huge potential to start your career within a niche role and industry, providing you with all the relevant training to become the next generation of Engineers. Start your Engineering journey with Hardall International Limited today and watch your career take off. You will complete a qualification whilst working alongside us. Key Areas of Responsibility:
Training will be provided in the areas listed below:-

1 day per week will be in Milton Keynes College
Learning how to manufacture, repair and service our products.
Working safely under the company’s Health and Safety guidelines.
Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all work areas, including the engineering workshop and customer premises.
Carry out any safety or quality compliance checks before and after the production or installation of the product.
Carry out electrical and mechanical checks and repairs ensuring the system remains in good working order.
Learn both the electrical and mechanical elements of machinery and site-based equipment and product.
Identify potential improvements to equipment and communicate these to the site.
Reading engineering drawings.
Ensure the security of all engineering stores, tools, and equipment.
Wiring PLC systems, Fire Panels, Linen Chutes,
Design, Assembly and Commissioning.
Support any Engineers when necessary.

Key Requirements

Grade 4/C in English and Maths.
Proactive, positive, enthusiastic – demonstrates a “can do” attitude
Self-motivated.
Willingness to multi-skill and be flexible based on the needs and demands of the business
Great attention to detail.

Organised and calm under pressure

Manual Handling and physical lifting will be required.

Entry requirements

English and Maths or equivalent Grade C/4 or above.
Desirable: Five GCSE’s at Grade 4(C) or above including English and Maths or equivalent.

Training to be Provided

Engineering Fitter Level 3
Training with Milton Keynes College.
Ongoing training, support and development with the employer.
Health and Safety training
Manual Handling
First Aid Training

Future Prospects
Apprenticeship can lead to permanent employment as a qualified Electrical Engineer or Site Services Engineer. Career progression can lead to a Team Leader/ Managerial position as well as a future position in the Sales and Marketing Department.
