Cambridge University Libraries is looking to recruit an Executive Assistant and PA to the Leadership Team.
Cambridge University Library (the UL) is one of the world’s oldest university libraries – and home to one of the world’s great collections of cultural treasures and research materials. Cambridge University Libraries (CUL) consists of over 30 sites and over 400 staff. Now is an exciting time to join CUL because we have an ambitious 10 year strategy, holding values at the core of what we do, to work with our communities (Research, Teaching and Learning, Public and Professional communities). This role is key to supporting CUL in delivering on its ambitions.
You will implement, manage and monitor administrative procedures for the Leadership Team in order to ensure the efficient and effective management of time, workflow and to co-ordinate the delivery of work linked to the University Libraries’ strategic priorities.
The role holder will provide an excellent standard of administrative support and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills, the ability to work on their own initiative, an excellent level of accuracy, manage complex tasks, work under pressure and to tight deadlines are essential. The role holder will require well developed communication, relationship building and achieving results behaviours as outlined in the behavioural attributes for the grade.
The role holder will, in addition to providing administrative support to the Leadership Team, act as Secretary at meetings of committees and bodies as required. You will be managed by the Head of Governance and Strategic Support Office, working closely with others across CUL and the wider University.
