Event Security Officer

Position Summary:
We are currently hiring dedicated and professional Events Security Officers for the Cambridgeshire area. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of high-profile events. As a representative of our company, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service, maintain a visible and friendly presence, and uphold professional standards.
Responsibilities:

– Provide top-quality customer care and always look professional in your uniform.
– Monitor crowd safety to keep event attendees, staff, and performers secure.
– Observe and understand crowd behavior to detect and handle any potential issues.
– Respond promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies.
– Conduct body and bag searches following established guidelines.
– Communicate effectively with event teams, crowds, and artists.
– Stay vigilant and approachable, keeping an eye out for any suspicious activities.
– Be physically capable of standing for long periods.

Requirements:

– Must hold a valid SIA DS (Door Supervision) Badge.
– Able to provide a 5-year work history that can be checked.
– Friendly and approachable with good interpersonal skills.
– Physical ability to stand for extended periods.
– Strong customer service skills.

Hours / Pay:

-Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour
-Availability to work flexible shifts from Monday to Sunday is required.
-Shifts will encompass a range of day, evening, and night schedules.
-Shift durations may vary from 7 to 12 hours per shift.
