We are looking for Mobile Patrol Officers to support the Edinburgh branch, as a Mobile Patrol Officer you will be providing a valued and important part of the branch operations and be a key ambassador to our clients and Profile Security.
Shift Pattern:
You will be required to drive a company marked patrol vehicle, working predominately night shifts 19:00-07:00 on a 4 on 4 off pattern with some day shift working 07:00-19:00 as and when required. It would also be expected that the successful candidate be fully flexible with regards to picking up some overtime shifts to cover holidays when required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Providing an excellent first rate customer service to clients, staff, visitors and contractors.
Patrolling of client premises, acting as a high visibility presence and first point of contact.
Reporting incidents, accidents and faults in line with both company and client process.
Observe and follow all instructions as laid out in the assignment instructions.
Complete incident reports in line with company process, and in a timely manor.
Carry out alarm responses, mobile patrols, assisted lock up and open up duties in line with client agreements.
Perform VPI inspections, key auditing and all associated admin tasks.
Perform out of hour’s welfare visits with security officers; perform site level training and upskilling as and when required.
Assist with covering shifts.
This is a demanding, but very rewarding role. You must be able to follow precise, client specific instructions, whilst also being able to think on your feet and react to ad-hoc situations as they occur. You must be comfortable working solo when out in the patrol car, whilst also being able to work together with your teammates to plan and share the work load.
Requirements:
You must hold or be in processing for a front line SIA license in either security guarding, door supervision or close protection. A CCTV License would be advantageous, although not essential.
You must be able to complete a 5 year work history as per BS7858 requirements, accounting for any gaps in your employment history.
You must hold a Full Manual UK Driving license with no DD or DR penalties, and able to commute to the base.
