We’re looking for a Software Project Coordinator Apprentice to join our Customer Operations Team based in Cambridge .

As a Software Project Coordinator Apprentice , you will work within the Telensa Customer Operations Team where we support our customer’s connected streetlighting networks. This involves resolving technical issues, completing system health checks, configuring new customer networks, and analyzing of performance logs all whilst maintaining the high level of customer satisfaction we are known for.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will spend dedicated time working between technical and sales teams to gather a holistic view of the company’s strategy and processes. We offer degree apprenticeships – so why not study for a degree whilst being paid.
What you’ll do
During your 3-year apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to:
Work closely with other internal stakeholders, such as the sales, manufacturing, and development teams, to understand and track and report on the progress of a customer’s order.
Develop dashboards and project reporting to help share information organisation wide.
Identify and help to resolve issues related to resource or hardware constraints whilst ensuring we keep a focus on our key priorities.
Develop an understanding of the product and how we support of all Telensa network infrastructure.
Work closely with development and testing teams to ensure successful product launches and upgrades.
Take a lead role in identifying and implementing improvement opportunities.
Your qualifications
You are interested in developing Agile Project Management skills.
Good IT skills and previous experience working with Microsoft Office programs.
Previous experience or wish to learn about Software Project Management.
Passionate and eager to learn and develop your career in the area of Software development and Scrum Master.
An excellent & confident communicator, both verbally and written.
A fast learner, reliable and able to work to deadlines.
Team worker, proactive, strong collaborative skills as well as self-confident, organized and dedicated are attributes that define yourself.
Aged 16 plus.
Resident in England and able to be based in the Cambridge office.

You will be given a dedicated learning pathway and set job specific and mandatory E-learning courses. Furthermore, the apprentice would be enrolled with a local college and will aim to successfully complete an Apprenticeship in a relatable subject
You will be given support and direction to succeed in the short term, via coaching, the medium term, via mentoring, and for the long term by been given a framework to develop as a lighting industry professional.
You will be set SMART goals and have regular reviews to ensure they develop in their role and have opportunity to network with the wider business.

What happens once you complete the apprenticeship?
Most of our Apprentices are offered a role within the Signify group having successfully demonstrated the appropriate skills and behaviour for effective performance. Alternatively, there are opportunities for further apprenticeship qualification.
