Construction Labourer

Watson Construction build social and affordable housing across the Northwest, we think outside the blocks!
We are recruiting for a Labourer to join the team on our new development at Creams Mill, Little Lever. This is a fixed term contract lasting approximately 12 months . The rate of pay is £10.90 an hour less tax and NI, 40 hours per week, 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday. You’ll receive 33 days annual leave entitlement including 8 UK bank holidays pro rata and company pension enrolment.
Reporting to the Site Manager, you must be able to work and perform in a safe and conscientious manner, adapt and complete a variety of multi trade and general labouring tasks included but not limited to;

Manual handling duties assisting the trades with materials
Banksman duties
Mixing mortar and checking off deliveries against paperwork
Keeping the general areas clean and tidy
Cleaning out plots so they are ready for internal works
Keeping outside areas and pedestrian walkways clear and safe through good housekeeping

You must be a good communicator and work well as part of a team.
Previous labouring experience and Banksman certification is necessary, CSCS card is preferred although further training with be provided. PPE will also be provided including face fit testing. You must be able to attend a company induction at our Head Office in Salford prior to starting on site.
Immediate start required for 6th November induction.
