This is an exciting opportunity to join us as the Finance Lead for Player Safety and Regulation. Coming from a Finance background, you’ll be collaborating with business stakeholders and leading on financial modelling, insight and analysis to help understand impacts of player safety measures and identifying mitigating actions.
What you will be doing
Finance business partnering support for our Player Safety Team
Proactive engagement in understanding player safety, compliance and risk management frameworks
Identification of measures which might require further analysis and insight
Financial modelling of new measures or changes to existing measures considering overlapping impacts
Management of the forecasting process for impact from player safety measures for budget process
Managing large volumes of complex data and summarising key points to tell a story and present back to Senior stakeholders
Seeking continuous team Improvement – reporting, Insight etc whilst managing day to day queries/questions from Business Stakeholders and Exec
Working with wider BI team to deliver analytics to understand data and provide insights for decision making and Supporting and developing a Commercial Finance Analyst.
Who we are looking for
You will have a Finance background and ideally be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
With previous experience in reporting and Commercial Analysis/Business Partnering, you will be comfortable in this role.
You’ll be a great communicator, with excellent stakeholder management and be able to manage multiple priorities as well as a people person who can communicate effectively across all levels and be proactive in engaging stakeholders.
You will have experience of handling large and complex data sets with excellent analytical skills to tell the story behind the numbers with a proven commercial mindset and problem solving skills.
A self-starter who can work well autonomously but also in a team with excellent analytical skills, knowledge of data systems and ability to tell the story.
