Our client, a high quality Security Services Company, with a reputation for a low staff turnover and high client retention rate are looking for a dynamic and innovative business development manager to assist in the development of new business across the London region as well targeted areas across the South East of England.
The company predominantly offer physical security and mobile patrol services, as well as partnering with an electronic security provider.
They have offices in London and Essex, with more planned to follow due to expected growth.
Role requirements:
· To manage the generation of new business from new and existing customers to achieve budgeted profit levels.
· To work closely with all Sales staff with a view to ensure expected performance objectives for the department are achieved or exceeded.
· To identify opportunities for new business through market research.
· To support the production of bids for new business and effect professional bid management.
· To secure new business through the use of effective sales and negotiation.
· To identify additional opportunities with existing clients.
· Develop and maintain excellent relationships with other members of the Business Development and Management teams to enable an efficient approach to client and new business development.
· To work closely with all Sales staff with a view to ensure expected performance objectives for the department are achieved or exceeded.
· Ensure that, at all times, the business development service provisions reflect the professional image of the Company and strive to continually improve the service.
Candidate Competencies:
· The ideal candidate will come from a Security or FM sales background, working within the UK market sector.
· Have an excellent understanding of the activities of the industry, the Company and the services available.
· Ability to produce accurate tenders within tight deadlines.
· The ability to work to tight deadlines.
· Adaptable and flexible to meet varying workload.
· Positive attitude, self motivated and reliable.
· The ability to generate sales and profit.
· First class negotiation and communication skills.
· Developed presentation skills.
· Generation and maintenance of long term relationships.
· PC literate – particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
