Main Duties / Responsibilities:

Banking vehicles in and out the yard.
Using Banks-man tablet to analyse waste tipped.
Communicate closely with drivers, weighbridge operative & plant staff.
Quality control of incoming materials to determine where best value is maximized.
Escalate non-conformance according to procedure and reporting to Site Manger.
Ensure a professional and courteous approach is always adhered to.
Strictly comply to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure the working environment is practical for both you and others.
Any other reasonable duties which may be allocated from time to time.
Covering the Weighbridge Operative role for holidays/absences.

Person Specification:

SHEQ background/knowledge is preferable.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
Preferably have material handling knowledge or the willingness to learn.
Willing to work in all weather conditions.
Willingness to learn Quality control of waste tipped directly to storage.
Cleaning duties in downtime periods.
Flexible approach to working hours.
Have a ‘can do’ approach.
