/ THE ROLE
Following new business wins, our team at Momentum is growing! You’ll play a key role as we focus on turning projects into partnerships by establishing strong working relationships with new key clients. Client servicing and partnership relationships are at the heart of this role with no two days being the same. In your role as Account Executive, you’ll be supporting across multiple client accounts including UK-leading technology brand Dyson, as well as gaining experience in FMCG marketing by working on General Mills (Haagen-Dazs, Fibre One, Nature Valley & Betty Crocker) and Upfield portfolios.
Momentum works across a wide range of events, tying brand experiences into key cultural moments to create compelling connections between products and consumers. You’ll also play a key role in content delivery for clients, working closely with our content production team to develop engaging and authentic brand content which relates to our client’s target audiences and delivers against their objectives.
Communication, upwards management and proactivity are key for this role. You’ll be communicating daily with clients and internal teams, as you assist with the day-to-day management of the account(s) working closely with Account Directors, Senior Account Managers and Account Managers to ensure the team is set up for success to deliver high-quality projects in line with client objectives.
You need to know the details and help support the team in ensuring that they are prepared and organised. You will have a great eye for detail, be able to think creatively as well as be process-driven. You will be looking to add value at all stages of every project. Taking the initiative to get tasks done without being asked will see the successful applicant excel in this busy but rewarding role.
There will be an expectation to work on multiple projects that are diverse and multi-disciplined – to succeed you’ll have an enthusiastic, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to jump in and support across the team.
/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and maintains strong working relationships with colleagues and clients at all levels
Builds thorough understanding of clients business internally and externally to inform the “why” as well as the “what” we do.
Provides day-to-day client contact, where applicable, managing expectations in accordance with agency philosophy
Support the accounts team (Account Managers, Senior Account Managers and Account Directors) in the delivery of campaigns and activity across the portfolio – assisting with all phases of delivery according to agency standards within established budgets and timeframes
Establish effective relationships across agency multi-disciplinary teams e.g. Business Leadership, Production, Strategy, Creative, Technology, Operations and Finance
Managing internal and client weekly status documents
Managing meeting Agendas & Minutes
Creating presentation decks for Clients, partners and for internal usage
Team administration
Supporting the team onsite at events and content shoots
Supporting with time reconciliations and finance administration which includes pulling relevant reports to manage agency time and budgets
/ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Our Account Executive roles are aimed at those looking to build on initial experience within an agency or get their foot on the ladder for the first time. You may be working in your first agency role, have recently graduated / completed a Marketing apprenticeship or internship, or be looking for a career change – whatever your background, we’d love to hear from you. The key things we’ll be looking for you to demonstrate are:
Experience of working in an agency environment or in events/marketing is desirable.
The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships within the team but also with clients, partners and agency colleagues
Ability to tailor communications and style to different stakeholders and personality types, always with a good attitude
Organised and detail-oriented, with strong project management skills
Ability to juggle a number of projects and tasks simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
A Can-do attitude and willingness to take on any task combined with a strong desire to learn and grow
Capable of learning quickly and applying learnings/best practices to future tasks
Tapped into culture and able to help advise clients on moments and reactive opportunities
Able to think creatively and bring new ideas to the table that will help drive client success
Basic understanding of the role of experiential marketing and content in the broader marketing mix
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong IT skills including Excel & PowerPoint
Polished, professional demeanour, projects confidence and enthusiasm for the business
