The Supply Planner is a pivotal role in the UK & Ireland Supply Chain organisation, driven to enable commercial business goals through operational excellence and outstanding customer service. The role is responsible for managing international product supply, local inventory optimisation and go-to-market order execution across multiple brands, categories and channels.

Our first strength is Make-up, led by NARS, the No 8 brand in the UK market with incredible success globally.
Skincare is a key priority for expansion, with Shiseido having huge growth potential in UK&I, and also the spectacular launch of Clé de Peau Beauté in Harrods and H-Beauty. Drunk Elephant joined our portfolio at the beginning of 2021 bringing its unique tone of voice together with its amazing formulations. In 2023 we are planning to launch ULE a newly created Skincare brand with breakthrough credentials around Sustainability, as well as expanding Gallinée, our most recent acquisition from 2022 and specialized around skin microbiome.
We are also growing fast in Fragrance with brands such as Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Tory Burch, Zadig&Voltaire and Serge Lutens.

Our clients include high-street retailers such as department stores, drugstores & chains as well as online pure players and specialty stores. We also have 4 boutiques and 3 direct e-commerce websites.

ORGANISATION

Reports to Sales and Operational Planning Manager
Job Location: London, UK
Contract type: Permanent

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with the demand planning team to understand demand changes and customer activity requiring supply chain prioritisation
Drive ownership of weekly stock transfers from regional to local warehouse, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet sku demand, monitoring and adjusting required volumes
Inventory optimisation: drive continuous improvement to overall inventory holdings, delivering both availability and asset management objectives. This includes stock holding parameter management through the demand requirements plan, lead time reduction, excess and obsolescence prevention
Customer service level / order fulfilment: Track, report and manage supply constraints and out of stock product scenarios, providing detailed root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions. Communicate to key stakeholders the risks, impacts and recovery timelines
Work closely with EMEA Supply Planners to ensure transparency on inventory projections and timely product availability in line with business needs
Work collaboratively with the local warehouse team to ensure visibility on inbound and outbound prioritisation
Support the S&OP Manager contributing to and influencing strategic plans, running and distributing reports to the wider business

PROFILE

In depth working knowledge of the cosmetics sector or of a similarly face-paced sector (FMCG, Mass retail…)
Previous experience within an international supply chain organisation
Excellent numerical skills and analytical ability
Proactive and collaborative with the ability to multi task and demonstrate flexibility
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to deal effectively with all levels of business personnel and see the wider commercial impact
Ability to influence internal partners across various cultures (Europe, Middle East and US) in order to achieve supply chain and business goals.
Systems experience: SAP, BI Reporting, Microsoft Office
