Project Manager Fire & Security

The role
This role is to survey, estimate and project manage the delivery of Fire and security projects together with identifying opportunities for existing and new clients to support business development. You should, ideally have at least 5 years of previous experience in this role and be technically competent and familiar with all types of Fire & Security systems. Responsibilities and duties

To produce fully costed, detailed and accurate estimates in response to surveys, requests for quotation or tenders
Deliver those estimates for internal review within the timescales identified by the company, to meet customer deadlines
Identify and develop opportunities – both new and existing customers in line with strategy
Maintain strong client relationships at all levels and support the overall quality of service provision
Undertake site surveys, interpret plans and tender documents to produce fully costed and detailed estimates
Identify new opportunities
Understand and remain current with industry standards and design practice
Support Operations Team as necessary regarding live jobs/projects
Ensure Projects are priced and estimated to allow their completion on time, within budget and to the agreed profit level
Thorough knowledge of safety issues with the ability to produce Method Statements and Risk Assessments for projects/installations
