Working Hours: Night shifts (18:00 – 07:00) and weekends (19:00 – 07:00)
Hourly Pay: £11.50
Summary:
Continental Security Services is seeking a highly motivated and responsible Mobile Response Driver to join our team. The Mobile Response Driver will be primarily responsible for lockups, unlocks, mobile patrols, and alarm response in the Hastings and East Sussex area. As a self-employed security professional, the ideal candidate must be capable of working independently, demonstrating strong initiative, and efficiently managing their time. The role requires proficient English language skills for accurate report writing and record-keeping.
Responsibilities:
1. Lockups and Unlocks:
– Ensure secure lockup and unlock of designated premises as per assignment instructions.
– Safeguard the premises against unauthorised access during lockup or unlock procedures.
2. Mobile Patrols:
– Conduct mobile patrols of specified areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities.
– Regularly inspect sites and report any security breaches or safety concerns promptly.
3. Alarm Response:
– Respond promptly to alarm activations and investigate the cause of the alarm.
– Take appropriate actions to resolve any security issues or emergencies, following company protocols.
4. Independent Work:
– Work autonomously and responsibly, handling assigned tasks efficiently without direct supervision.
– Demonstrate resourcefulness and problem-solving skills when dealing with unexpected situations.
5. Time Management:
– Plan and manage routes effectively to ensure timely responses to lockups, unlocks, patrols, and alarm calls.
– Prioritise tasks based on urgency and company guidelines.
6. Record Keeping:
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of all activities during shifts, including incident reports, alarm responses, and patrol logs.
– Submit comprehensive and well-written reports in a timely manner.
7. Communication and Reporting:
– Communicate effectively with the company’s control centre and other team members to provide updates on activities and incidents.
– Follow assignment instructions precisely and report any deviations or concerns.
Requirements:
– Valid SIA license.
– Valid driver’s license.
– Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
– Strong time management skills and punctuality.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Proficiency in report writing and maintaining accurate records.
– Understanding of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
– Good physical fitness and ability to work during night shifts and weekends.
– Previous security experience will be advantageous.
