HR AssistantAs an HR assistant, your role will support the business and senior management team in a wide range of HR, payroll and administration duties.You will develop your practical skills in the support of the HR/payroll function. You will be supported with thorough training and have the continued support of the HR and finance managers. We are seeking a good fit for our team and will consider applicants seeking a first opportunity in their careers as well as candidates with relevant experience in a HR/payroll support function, salary is therefore competitive and negotiable depending on experience. We are open to considering candidates seeking a part-time or full-time role.
Duties include:
Performing weekly and monthly payroll functions, processing payslips and pension contributions. (BrightPay/Xero experience an advantage.)Answering day-to-day staff enquiries.Supporting the recruitment function by sifting candidates, supporting in person interviews, processing personnel files and screening.Managing holidays and tracking absence.Providing the business with HR management information.Assisting with training arrangements for staff.Supporting managers with disciplinaries and performance management interviews.General administration and office management duties including purchasing of uniform and office supplies.Participating in activities to achieve the social value commitments for the business.
