Job Description
Being an Area Security Officer with Sentry Security is much more than being a security guard. You will look after multiple customers within your “beat”. You will get to know your area well and be able to respond to incidents and alarm activations as well as carry out basic patrols, open and unlocks and checking in on our static guards.
You will have use of our liveried patrol vehicles to provide a high visibility deterrent providing reassurance to our customers.
On top of your basic pay (paid weekly), once you complete training, you will qualify for our performance bonus scheme. We will even cover the cost of your SIA licence renewal and subsequent training.
Full and part time vacancies are available and you can request additional shifts if you want them.
Applicants should have previous experience in mobile security, excellent time management skills, be literate, reliable and a good communicator. You should also take pride in your appearance, dress smartly and keep your vehicle clean and tidy.
Duties include but are not exclusive to:
· Security checks of customer premises
· Opening and Locking premises at scheduled times
· Dealing with alarm activations and incidents
· Keeping clear and accurate records in both written and electronic form
· Checking that our static guards meet the same standards you do
Minimum Requirements:
· Valid SIA licence (DS or SG)
· Checkable work history going back a minimum of 5 years without gaps
· Smart and professional appearance
· Confident and friendly personality
· Excellent communication skills
· Must have access to own transport
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, Part-time
Salary: £11.25 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 50 per week

12 hour shift
