Reporting to: Operations Manager and Operations Support Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
The main duties of the area relief security officer is to protect people, property and assets and support with maintaining a safe, secure, and pleasant environment by providing surge requirements, absence and holiday cover.

Provide security services to a range of different sites and clients across Manchester area (construction, reception, mobile patrol, lock & unlock, alarm response, events etc).
Ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence with the Assignment Instructions and any temporary instructions.
Presenting at all times, a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at the premises of our clients including site patrols and dealing with any issues in a professional manner.
Conducting shift handover procedures at the start and end of each shift to ensure all matters of concern or note occurring during a shift are passed on for the purposes of service and incident management continuity.
Writing complete and accurate handover and incident reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports passed to you at the commencement or during a duty shift
Working alone or as part of a team.
Completing lock, unlock and patrols.
To professionally greet, assist and direct members of the public and clients staff.
To professionally represent StrongGuard Security UK and the client.

Applicants must have / be:
· Flexible covering days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
· Reliable with an excellent attendance and punctuality record.
· Smart and approachable.
· Have a full driving licence and access to your own transport, this is essential as this is an area relief role.
· Excellent customer service and communication skills, verbal, written and listening.
· A team player with a positive, solution focused approach.
· Enthusiastic with a can do attitude.
· A valid SIA (Door Supervision or Security) licence.
Pre-Employment Screening & Vetting:
Start – following satisfactory interview, background checks and DBS.
Applicants must be able to provide a minimum of 10 years checkable employment / unemployment / educational history, with no gaps greater than 30 days.
This is required for Screening and Vetting as per the current BS 7858.
