Job Description: Mobile Patrol Officers
Responsibilities:

Operate a designated vehicle to conduct mobile patrols of assigned areas, including parking lots, buildings, and other premises.

Adhere to a predetermined schedule for routine patrols to ensure the security and safety of the premises.

Inspect and monitor the condition of access points, fences, gates, and other security equipment during patrols.

Report any signs of damage, unauthorized access, or security breaches promptly.

Act as a visible deterrent to unauthorized individuals by maintaining a vigilant presence during patrols.

Challenge and question suspicious individuals or activities and report them to the appropriate authorities.

Respond to alarms, emergencies, or calls for assistance promptly and efficiently.

Follow established procedures to address incidents, such as contacting law enforcement, fire department, or medical personnel as necessary.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.

Complete incident reports and provide written documentation of security-related events.

Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.

Verify identification and credentials of individuals requesting access.

Maintain effective communication with the central security office, fellow patrol drivers, and other security personnel using radios or other communication devices.

Ensure that the patrol vehicle is always in good working condition.

Conduct routine checks and report any issues with the vehicle to the maintenance department.

Adhere to all security policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the organization.

Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, tenants, or employees with inquiries and directions when necessary.

Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour while on duty.

Display a high level of integrity, honesty, and reliability in all interactions.

Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on security best practices and industry trends.

Requirements: –

Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.

Full UK driving license.

Excellent observation and surveillance skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
