Salary range: £24,948 – £26,845 per annum
Work location: Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service HQ Kidlington (we fully support the OCC agile working framework should this be appropriate, supporting people to work from home or other locations).
Hours per week: 37 – we are open to discussions about flexible working
Contract type: Permanent
Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a Criminal Records Check.

The interview process will take place in two parts. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to undertake an interview and ICT assessment.

The Prevention Administrative Support role is crucial in supporting our Home and Community Safety team and the wider fire service, to work effectively to deliver outstanding services to the residents of Oxfordshire.
About the role
The Prevention Administrative Support role provides efficient and effective administrative support to the core activities of the prevention team within Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service, this role is the first point of contact for requests for Safe and Well visits and any fire related safeguarding concerns from other professionals, and members of the public. This role will prioritise request relevant to vulnerability. Responses to requests need to be processed in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that those vulnerable within Oxfordshire receive a visit within set time scales. This role will provide resilience to the safeguarding lead.
About you
You will be a person who can build excellent working relationships with professionals and members of the public. You will be a highly organised individual who is self-motivated, with good IT skills and will be able to provide efficient first-class customer service to all.
